Pyxis Fees

How Pyxis processes billing and fees

What are Pyxis Fees

Pyxis charges its clients based on payments into and out of the client money account. Transfers between wallets do not attract fees.

Fees owed by the client are held in Pyxis for review at any time.

Fee Wallets

Each client has a customer that represents themselves created for them when their account is set up. This customer in turn holds an Pyxis Fee's vault where details of all fees are held.
Whenever a payment is processed, a pending Transaction record is created in the client's Pyxis Fees vault.

At the end of each billing cycle, Pyxis will invoice the client for the total value of all the pending Fee transactions. On receipt of payment, Pyxis will mark all the relevant transactions as complete.

Calculating a Fee

When a payment is created, Pyxis will calculate the relevant fee to be charged to the client. The nature of the fee depends upon the Fee Model agreed with the client.
